Cti provides certified rapid prototype and pre-production high-integrity components to sectors such as aerospace, defence, medical and motor-sport.
Our facilities and materials expertise enable us to produce high performance products in the entire range of iron and steel, titanium and zirconium, magnesium and aluminium, and nickel and cobalt-based super-alloys.
To accommodate a marked growth in activity, an additional 50,000 sq ft of workshop space has been developed on the Advanced Manufacturing Park in South Yorkshire, and significant investment has been made in advanced design, rapid prototyping, ceramic shell and vacuum melting facilities.
New projects require us to build up the 55-strong team already working on the new site. We are seeking to recruit individuals to work at Cti, with an ability to work to a high degree of accuracy and repeatability, to aerospace manufacturing quality systems.
Works Engineer
We require a Works Engineer to supervise the maintenance team, taking a hands-on role as required. The job involves managing the maintenance of equipment, general site and contracted services. We also require the implementation of a planned maintenance system.
We require an engineer with the following skills:
- Qualified electrical engineer with good mechanical abilities.
- Worked in a cast metals background (foundry), experienced with induction melting furnaces (vacuum melting an advantage), cranes, shot blasts, finishing equipment, moulding and sand plant.
- Knowledge of programmable and relay logic controllers, compressed air and hydraulic systems.
- Familiar with H&S guidelines, environmental legislation, and keeping compliant records.
- Able to liaise with external suppliers, ensuring cost effective delivery of contracted services.
