Beneficial Re-use of Foundry By-products
| In 1999, Castings Technology International completed a major DTI-funded project to develop, promote and disseminate best practice in the beneficial use of foundry by-products, across the UK. Activities included: |

- Setting up and monitoring trials

- Disseminating results through publications, industry press, seminars and conferences
|
- Publication of a project newsletter, Arisings (free back issues available)
|
- Production of the Beneficial Re-use for Managers Manual, a 'how-to' guide for re-use. 2004 Edition now available.

- A 48-page non-confidential project summary is available on request.
