Waste Management for Foundries
This project aims to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill by providing new educational material targeted at two strategic levels: foundry managers and shop floor employees.
Funding was provided by Biffaward, a multi-million pound environment fund which utilises landfill tax credits donated by Biffa Waste services and is administered by the Royal Society for Nature Conservation. The 10% contribution required to secure the grant was provided by the Department of Trade and Industry.
