Cti provides fast prototyping and pre-production castings to industrial sectors including automotive, aerospace, defence, medical and motorsport, in a wide range of metals and alloys including steels, titanium, magnesium, superalloys and nickel.
The rapid prototyping facilities include:
- SLA250
- SLA3500
- SLA7000
- Thermojet
The working envelope of the state-of-the-art SLA7000 is 500x500x600mm, although it is often the case that a number of individual pieces are assembled to produce larger parts.
Our facilities can be used to produce patterns or models in standard SLA resins or white ABS simulant, or fully inspected certified castings. Cti has specialists in the QuickCast technique, having produced over 2000 patterns to date, and has wide experience of manufacturing one-off parts.
The Rapid Prototyping facilities are enhanced by a Co-ordinate Measuring Machine, which verifies the accuracy of patterns and models, and provides customers with the peace of mind that they are receiving exactly what they specified.
