Cti is highly committed in providing awareness and career guidance for the Casting Industry. As is the case with engineering in general, there is a shortage of craftsmen. One of the reasons for this is a lack of awareness of the job roles available and the perception that casting is all about melting - when in reality, that is just a small part in the manufacturing chain.
One way we can change this perception is to allow young people the opportunity to sample working in today's hi-tech foundry environment.

Hopefully their experiences will surprise them and maybe influence their career choices.
