Over the last few weeks, some of you may have already had a conversation with Connor about your casting requirements – if not, here’s your chance to get to know each other.
Where did you get your passion for engineering?
I dreamt of being a pilot and always had an interest in building stuff and aircraft models. To follow my dream, I went to university and studied Aerospace Engineering at Sheffield University.
What were you working on before you came to Cti?
My previous experience includes the development of materials for aerospace applications.
What are you enjoying learning since you started at Cti?
The technical casting processes we offer here are world-class for the creation of the latest high tech aerospace and defence components.
What are you most looking forward to?
I can’t wait to get out and visit the customers, you can’t beat face-to-face meetings and works visits to truly understand the client’s needs and how they operate.
What has been your best challenge to date?
Completing my dissertation with Rolls-Royce on induced porosity in the inertial friction welding process.
Secret past? I was a sushi chef!
Can you share an unusual fact about yourself? Outside work, I am learning latin ballroom dancing!
